FORSAKING YOUR CHILDREN

No-one is perfect
we all have done sinful acts
maybe being born was the worst mistake of our lives
forgive us as we forgive those who trespass against us
we say in our prayers
why can’t you find it in your heart to forgive us
for we have wronged you
maybe that is where the major problem
what have we done to you to deserve this
you had a fight with our mother
which caused the break up between you and her
then why do you have to forsake us

We are your flash and blood
living a fancy life with your arrogant new wife and kids
should not be building a barrier between us
you are supposed to be loving us
not forsaking and neglecting us
if we were born by mistake
we are the product of that mistake you have made
like a bunch of rotten bananas
take us back to where you bought us
you now can’t maintain us
you can only forsake

We all know that you grew up without you father
he passed away when you were still young
maybe he loved you
cared about you
maybe he also wish he was alive
to give you the love and comfort you deserve
is it some sort of revenge on us
that you also suffered
we also have to feel the pain you have gone through
it wasn’t our fault

We know you are alive and out there
what we need and ask for is love
the love of our own biological father
all those advises and encouragements
that responsible fathers give to their children
why do you isolate yourself from other fathers

Money cannot buy love
don’t post us money
to think it will soften our hearts
it will make a difference
it will make us happy and proud
we need your presence
we need your guidance
in this wilderness
come back to us
do not forsake us to fake happiness
our tears are not falling down
